Commercial Case Studies
To understand how our commercial solar panels could benefit your business, have a look through some of our recent work where we’ve helped reduce overheads with renewable energy.

Associated British Ports
Consistently overperforming
Client/Project Title: | ABP (Associated British Ports) Ipswich |
Main Contractor: | Carters |
Value: | £112k |
System Size: | 120kWp |
Estimated Annual Output: | 105021 kWh’rs |
First year confirmed generation: This installation is less than 1 year old however generation is ahead of predicted. Annual CO2 emission savings: 46,734 kg / Year.

DC20 Cambridge
Annual CO2 emission savings of 20,026kg per year
Client/Project Title: | Cambridge Assessments DC 20 |
Main Contractor: | Barnes |
Value: | £67k |
System Size: | 49.9kWp |
Estimated Annual Output: | 45,002 kWh’rs |
First year confirmed generation: | This installation is less than 1 year old however generation is ahead of predicted |
Annual CO2 emission savings: | 20,026 kg / Year |
The PV installation was installed to a refurbished building, the array was installed to a metal trapezoidal roof avoiding the existing roof lights, the building has a high requirement for energy with very little kWh’rs being exported.

DC10 Cambridge
Annual CO2 emission savings of 20,624kg per year:
Client/Project Title: | Cambridge Assessments DC 10 |
Main Contractor: | DPL |
Value: | £67k |
System Size: | 49.9kWp |
Estimated Annual Output: | 46,347 kWh’rs |
First year confirmed generation: | This installation is less than 1 year old however generation is ahead of predicted |
Annual CO2 emission savings: | 20,624kg / Year |
The contract was awarded to DPL by the client direct after a successful installation at DC 20, the installation had to be specifically designed and installed as our structural engineer had indicated weight limitations to the roof, further to this the DNO set an export
Limitation of 4 kWp, DPL designed and installed specific equipment to shut down the installation if the export limit was reached however this was highly unlikely as the energy requirement on site was high.
Annual Carbon emission savings were calculated using the Average Grid carbon intensity of 44g / kWh.
